In the administrative centre of Sand, you will find the Suldal tourist information centre and plenty of shops and other services. Attractions in Suldal include the Salmon Studio (Laksestudio), the Suldalsdampen paddle steamer, Blåsjø lake, the coastal community of Jelsa and the Ryfylke Museum. The museum has several sites around the district.
Suldal is blessed with beautiful countryside, and there are plenty of trails for short walks or longer hikes in lowlands and mountains alike. If you like fishing, you’ll love Suldal: there is great fishing in the sea, in rivers and in freshwater lakes.
